ACEDIA
A cheery exploration of the morose and existential.
An interdisciplinary festival of trauma at the end of days.
A celebration of apocalyptic turmoil and the collapse of the inner self.
created by De Gré Cárdenas with lyrics by Reese Anderson

VOLUME I
The Apocalypse Trilogy
…3 theatrical explorations into the lost name for the emotion we're all feeling…
…a state of listlessness or torpor. an inert state without pain or care….

Sappy Tales for a Broken Heart
By De Gré Cárdenas
A broken man listens to tales of romance on an old radio in an isolated cabin for 7 weeks as the world comes to an end. Is that the future, the past, the end of the world, or just another dream, knocking at the door?

Fish Food For Feelings

Four siblings meet at an abandoned cabin on the 2nd anniversary of their parents’ death. The middle child has recently undergone a procedure to have his feelings removed. As the siblings struggle to reconcile their differences his psychotherapist shows up in the middle of the night along with an eccentric singer who claims to be the physical manifestation of the middle child’s removed feelings. Father & son argue over three generations over seven generations of trauma. A debaucherously drizzly pry into the culturally gutted and assimilated meaty journals of maybe bipolar, maybe bicultural, maybe biracial, maybe bisexual, maybe byrannical, certainly broken men.

LUCINE!
or "birdshit: a human concerto with string & void"
By K(c)abil, 2048
Luna’s daughter unapologetically reorchestrates her glorious phases as she approaches her final dawn. Tame. Offensive. Offensively tamed yet tamed offensively. From the award winning creators of the Acedia trilogy and Twisted Operettas comes a new human concerto set two years and two days before the Apocalypse. Oh Lucine, she was as cruel as she was kind.

Fables from the plebes & gods; blankets of the “event."

Storytime with Mr. Buttermen
By The Alchemists
Dare to join the peculiar class of the beloved Mr. Buttermen (a wonderfully disturbed man that lives in your park) as he leads us on a journey of learning. His Fables teach us the importance of being a moral adult in the modern world with classic stories such as Petey the Impotent Rabbit, The Girl who Cried Rape and The Tortoise and the D'jin. Don’t miss the opportunity to once again giggle like a school child. (Please note: Peeing your pants while in attendance is still frowned upon and will lead to banishment from the guild.)
Set during the “event.”
